Classification:
Musically speaking, when we say, “Gospel Music”, we tend to refer to the
traditional gospel music by various groups such as the Southern Gospel,
Nashville, or Holy Tabernacle music etc. Cambodian Gospel Music simply
identifies itself to the “Great Commission” of the Lord and “the
Gospel”. The pop/semi-jazz style of music presented by Hean Sor is fairly
displaying the different arrangements in Cambodian Christian music.
Meet
the Artist: Hean Sor— A member of the Asian Evangelical Church,
a passionate member of the worship team. He is blessed with a beautiful
godly wife Savang , and also they’re blessed with two adorable boys
Malachi (31/2 yrs), and Silas (11/2 Yr). He is employed by EDR
(Environmental Data Resources) , but dedicates his life to music ministry.
Blessed with many abilities from composer to vocalist, and musician, he
lends his time and effort in the releasing of his first C.D late 2005
entitled, “Pure and Holy Love.” Furthermore, his ambition is to record
and release new album annually.
Mission
Statement: “Providing quality music to Khmer-Christian
community”.

First of all, I would like to thank God above for His love, grace and
guidance through the years. Special thanks to my mom and dad and my
mother-in-law for their love and belief. My family plays a big role in this
ministry, supported me with Love and encouragement— “I love you all!”.
Pastor Amra Phou, and the next generation Leader Emanuel Lim, thank you so
much for your spiritual support. My gratitude extends to friends and church
